Karina Gerlach has over 30years of experience in the United Nations, where she has held positions of increasing responsibility and leadership across a broad spectrum of departments. Most recently, she was Deputy Executive Secretary of the UN’s High-Level Panel on the Post-2015 Development Agenda. Prior to that, she was Chief of the Office of the Under-Secretary-General in the UN’s Department of Political Affairs. Gerlach has extensive experience with the development, shepherding and implementation of system-wide policies and initiatives as well as with budgetary and administrative matters.
