The Swiss Network (FIFDH Geneva, Human Rights Film Festival Zurich, Festival Diritti Umani Lugano) joined together with Doctors without Borders to advance the protection and respect of the refugees' Human Rights. Today Europe is confronted with an unprecedented and catastrophic migration crisis. Refugees, who have already experienced dramatic situations in their countries, and endured traumatizing journeys to save their lives, must be welcomed in dignity. As stated in the 1951 Convention related to the Status of Refugees, Europe – including Switzerland – must fulfill these human rights and humanitarian imperatives.
